I’m calling a do-over with my INFP blog

Remember back in 2nd grade playing kickball where you’d get a do-over.  You’d kick the ball into a teacher “by accident” or the ball went into the trees or something and you’d just call a do-over and start again.

Don’t you wish life could be more like that?  Why not?  So I’m calling a do-over for this blog.

When doing something new, like blogging,  I’m the type of person who doesn’t really know if I’m doing it right, but I definitely know when I’m doing it wrong.  It’s that intuitive part of being an INFP that gives me a nagging feeling in the back of my head that something isn’t quite right.

I’ve been reading about blogging (geeky, but why re-invent the wheel) and I’m learning alot.

Blogging is like sex.  Too many words is a turn off unless the phrase “do that some more” is involved in some way.  Also goats are bad.  If it involves goats, you’re probably doing it wrong.  So no blogging about goats.

Hope you stay tuned.  I’ll be adding the shiny later after I redesign the blog (hopefully not on an INFP schedule).

I’ll be writing posts more often.  Please comment.  Comments make me happy.  Comments with the words “do that some more” make me “happy”.  Just sayin’.

    Do-overs are awesome.

I think that the nice thing about blogging is that you totally get to cry “do-over” as often as you like until you end up with a result that you’re satisfied with.

I have been reading your blog and I honestly have enjoyed your posts. I haven’t commented lately because I don’t always have the confidence that I should have when it comes to expressing my own opinions.

I will continue to tune in and in the future. And I’ll comment, even if only to say:

    “do that some more”

    …goats heh :)

I forgot about the do-over. It gave me a laugh. I sometimes think if I had my life to do over knowing what I know now … but, I would probably end up at the same place. I think I am hard wired a certain way, broken in a certain way, and I can’t unknow things I know and I can’t unlearn things I’ve learned.

I don’t really think you’re suppose to un-know or unlearn things. However, I don’t think past actions or inactions have any bearing on future results.

So I think my previous blog entries stank. I’ll quit the bad stuff I was doing and do it the right way. I think method also applies to real life.
